Any postures we take which deny or
ignore God are pathetic and ludicrous once we actively consider the
realities of what is. The only logical thing to do in the
face of these realities is to believe them. That's the realm
of sanity. (Insanity being the choice or inability to live within
reality.) Said another way -- the only sensible thing to do
is to believe in God, to believe what He says, and to get to know Him.
Besides
revealing Himself and His love for us in Creation, God reveals Himself
to us through words He says that He inspired which have been recorded
for us in the Bible. In those pages God further reveals
Himself as the One who loves us more than anyone else does.
He reveals a "way" of being where everyone loves each other in the same
way He loves us. That "way" which is so often ridiculed and
spurned is exactly the way to life how we would like it -- life without
fear lived in security, peace and harmony -- life lived in an
atmosphere of trust and mutual concern -- abundant and meaningful
life.
That's all good! And that's all part of what God is and
represents. Believe God! Be an instrument of His in
bringing it about. |
